REVIEW:
Sanctuary Golf Club is located on the north side of Scottsdale. There are many top courses in the Scottsdale area and Sanctuary Golf Club ranks right up with the others. It is an easy 30-minute drive from just about anywhere in the metro area. Sanctuary Golf Club is another golf course owned and managed by SunCor Golf. They have developed and managed some of the best golf courses in America and Sanctuary Golf Club is a fine addition the group of courses under their umbrella. Tom Patrick, vice president of SunCor Golf tells us that Sanctuary Golf Club is the first Audubon International Signature golf course in the Valley of the Sun.

The layout of the course was challenging and yet fair and offered us the chance to use a variety of shots. We enjoyed having a GPS system on our cart so we could plan our approach to each hole. The course is superbly maintained, as we would expect from a SunCor course. We were first of the tee early in the morning and we could see right away that we were going to enjoy this course. The staff was very accommodating and did everything they could to make sure we had an enjoyable round of golf. The surrounding area provided us with some great views of Camelback Mountain. The par-3 # 8 was especially beautiful with a large water feature, which had two multi-tiered waterfalls. With five sets of tees golfers of all skill levels can pick a distance that will be right for them. We had a great day of golf at Sanctuary Golf Club and we are confident that any golfers who play here will have the same experience.
