REVIEW:
GolfTest
USA had the opportunity prior to the PGA Show in January
to play several of the top courses in the Orlando area.
MetroWest Country Club was a course we received a lot of
requests to review. Robert Trent Jones, Sr. designed the
course so we knew the course would be challenging yet fair.
He has said that when he designs a golf hole it should be
a difficult par and easy birdie. MetroWest Country Club
proved that was true. Each green was well bunkered and the
course offered the opportunity to use many different golf
shots. The course is a mature facility that has been well
maintained. Most golfers will feel very comfortable playing
here as it is forgiving and challenging at the same time.
The staff was very accommodating and we ended up having
a fun time at the 19th hole waiting for our ride to arrive.
RATING:
GolfTest USA recommends Metro West as a "Quality"
golf course in the Orlando, Florida area.
