REVIEW:
Club West Golf Club is located on the south side of Phoenix away from the hustle and bustle of the sixth largest city in America. It is an easy 30-minute drive from just about anywhere in the metro area. Club West is another golf course owned and managed by SunCor Golf. They have developed and managed some of the best golf courses in America and Club West is no exception. Our staff really enjoyed our day of golf. We were first of the tee early in the morning and we could immediately tell that we were going to have fun playing here. The staff made sure that everything was taken care from loading our clubs on the cart, to checking us in and pointing us to the #1 tee. The course is beautifully maintained and the layout is superb. Having a quality GPS on the carts makes it easy to avoid trouble and to determine distances to the pin. We believe a GPS is now essential at courses where a lot of the golfers are on vacation or playing for the first time. With four sets of tees golfers of all skill levels can pick a distance that will be right for them. The scenery on the course made for some great backdrops to the holes and the elevation changes made for some challenging shots. Club West's signature hole, the Par-3 17th is one of the top par 3's in the state. It has a configuration of two greens tucked into a hillside with a steep vertical drop that makes it one of the most challenging yet fun holes we have seen. Our day of golf at Club West was really enjoyable. If you are coming to Phoenix you need to put Club West on the top of your list.
